  Insertion Sequence ISPg4  

There are 10 copies of ISPg4 in the genome of P. gingivalis strain W83. One copy is inserted into an ISPg1 element. One copy is immediately adjacent to an ISPg1 element and another is immediately adjacent to an ISPg3 element. ISPg4 is a member of the IS5 family of IS elements. Following is the nucleic acid sequence and amino acid sequence for a typical ISPg4. The inverted repeats are shown in purple , the start and stop codons for the transposase are shown in red.
